As a second grader Nadyne‘s favourite bed time book was the recreation guide from her community in Quebec city. There were not enough days in a week to participate in all the classes she wanted to register for. As a teenager, she was part of the provincial speed skating team and then, in her college years the volley-ball team.
After enjoying fitness for 23 years, Nadyne turned her passion into a career after the arrival of her first son. Nadyne had two children in two years and exercised comfortably right up to each birth. She experienced the many benefits of an active pregnancy, including her successful recovery from two caesareans.
It was when she joined her first stroller fitness class as a participant that she got hooked on postnatal fitness and how it changes lives of new moms. Now, as the owner/instructor of Fit 4 Two Richmond, Nadyne enjoys sharing her passion for fitness and healthy life style with new moms and moms-to-be.
Nadyne holds a bachelor degree in communication from Laval University (Quebec city) and has 16 years of medical sales and marketing experience. She is a BCRPA certified personal trainer, weight trainer, fitness leader and pre and postnatal fitness specialist. You can read her monthly Health and Fitness column in the Richmond Review newspaper.
Reason #3 to exercise during pregnancy:
Babies are heavy! Prepare for holding, lifting, carrying, rocking and feeding your bundle of joy by stengthening your upper body.

"When my daughter entered her fussy period – two weeks to four months – the only thing that would quiet her was holding her and doing squats.
When she was screaming, big, fast squats would calm her and small bounces would lull her to sleep. Thanks to all the exercises we did in prenatal fitness, my baby would tire before my legs did (most of the time!)." Stephanie D.
