ATTENTION River District Mom’s Starting May 1st We have made it easier for you to drop in each class. You can now purchase a punch card to give to flexibility. Please note this punch Card is ONLY valid for the River District. If would still like to drop in but not purchase a punch card you need to purchase the drop in prior to class and show your instructor confirmation of payment. Valid for 3 moths only.

New Make-Up Class Policy: Plase note that Trout Lake and Hillcrest Community Centre DO NOT allow make us with any of there registered programs unless a medical reason. If this is the case plase contact Pilar or the centre directly for a request. However we do undestan that things come up. If you will like to make up a class with in 30 days of the date missed you can do so ONLY at River District Centre and will need to contact Pilar directly.

 

Refund Policy: Requests must be submitted within 24 hours of the completion of the 2nd scheduled class. No other refunds requests will be considered without a doctors note. All refunds will be pro-rated with an administration fee of $5 to each person and program and 30% of the session for Personal Training and Dr note. Refunds will be returned by method of payment, with the exception of cash. Cash refunds will be returned by cheque and may take up to 14 days.

Welcome Carey Yuen to our team!

After more than 20 years in the Retail industry, Carey was ready to pursue something different. Combining her love of helping people with her passion for health and fitness, she became a Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer. Carey joined Fit 4 Two as an instructor at the end of 2017, a role that felt like the perfect fit. 

Being a Mom herself, Carey has a 2-year-old, Ellie, who has changed her world… and is a key motivator in her change of career. She is a former Fit 4 Two participant, so she is completely aware of the benefits Fit 4 Two provides for Moms, Babies, and Moms to be, both within and outside of the class. 

When Carey isn’t planning, instructing or attending classes, she loves to be outdoors with her family. Running, snowshoeing, paddling, or playing at the park with her yellow lab, Charlie, are just a few of the places you might find her. 

Carey holds the following certifications:

• Group Fitness Instructor (BCRPA)
• Pre and Postnatal Fitness Specialist (Fit 4 Two)
• First Aid and CPR

 

Carey is excited to experience the fitness journey with her participants, whether they are Moms or Moms to be.

Pilar creates an environment of non-judgment and fun in her classes and genuinely cares about the participants.  Even though there were (many) days where my energy levels were low during this pregnancy, I always felt re-energized at the end of class and great about what I had accomplished for me and the baby.  I attended classes from early in my second trimester until my 39th week - Callie provided ways to modify exercises as I grew and changed so that I could participate as fully as possible and get a great workout at whatever stage I was in.  I would recommend Callie\'s classes to anyone looking for an informative, fun and inspiring place to exercise during pregnancy!
